Devcom has officially begun, kicking off a week of talks, B2B and B2C expos and awards ceremonies.

The Devcom conference itself takes place on August 19th and 20th, featuring more than 250 speakers across 200 sessions and 15 stages. The event also houses its own exhibition for developers, publishers, service and tool providers.

PocketGamer.biz will be at the show reporting on the talks, with a keen interest in the Mobile Track. The track features speakers from My.Games, SuperGaming, Moon Active, Atomhawk Advance, Midjiwan, Mucks! Games, Tilting Point, and Naavik.

Prepare for a week of B2B networking

Devcom also acts as a prelude to Gamescom, with the B2B trade area kicking off on August 21st ahead of the main consumer exhibition from August 23rd. We’ll of course be reporting the latest news from the event and providing key insights into the top trends emerging from the show floor throughout the week.

And don’t forget, we’re hosting a couple of events of our own this week. The Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards in association with Gamelight takes place on Tuesday, August 20th. If you want to mingle with the industry’s best and brightest and celebrate their achievements over the past year,  you can grab the last remaining tickets while they are available here.

Then we have the Pocket Gamer Party in association with Aptoide on the evening of Wednesday, August 21st. You can get your ticket to a night of networking right here.

New to Devcom and Gamescom and want to get the most out of your week? We spoke to a number of experienced industry experts who all provided some key tips in our Gamescom Survival Guide.

At a loose end in the evenings? There are plenty of networking opportunities – check out our Gamescom Party Guide right here.

During the week you may also find industry colleagues networking at other local venues, too, including at the Marriott Hotel and the Corkonian. We discussed all this and more on the PocketGamer.biz Podcast Week in Mobile Games, which you can listen to below.

If you’d like to meet the PocketGamer.biz team while at Devcom and Gamescom, whether for editorial or sales opportunities, reach out to us directly or fill in this form here.

We hope you enjoy the show!
