India-based game developer SuperGaming has launched the open beta for its eagerly-awaited battle royale game, Indus.
With over 12 million pre-registrations on the Google Play Store, the ‘made-in-India-for-the-world’ game is officially open, and ready for players to dive into a futuristic alternative India-inspired universe and test out the game before it launches fully.
Android users can join the open beta by downloading the game from the Google Play Store while iOS users need to download the Testflight app from the App Store, then follow the provided invitation link to install the beta version on their device.
There’s a new beta gameplay trailer to tempt in players too.
Open beta features to try
A recent addition to the game is a new Grudge System, a feature that allows players to seek revenge on those who eliminate them in matches. By declaring a Grudge, a player is more likely to be matched with the same player who took them out in future games, offering a chance for payback.
“This phase is a vital part of our development as it allows us to gather feedback from a wider player base beyond our closed beta group. Players and community play an active role in shaping the future of Indus,” said SuperGaming CEO and co-founder Roby John.
SuperGaming is also releasing a limited-time pre-launch battle pass for Indus, offering rewards such as the Legendary Avatar Heena alongside the Indus Insiders 2 which allows content creators to collaborate, create content, and engage with the community.
Selected participants will get in-game rewards, early access to updates, and direct communication with developers.
