FRVR names Quentin Staes-Polet as its new CEO



AI game creation and distribution platform FRVR has appointed Quentin Staes-Polet as its new CEO. 

He joing with over 25 years of experience from leadership roles at Epic Games, Unity, Take 2 Interactive, and Ankama. Former CEO Brian Meidell has now taken on the role of  CTO where he will concentrate on advancing technical innovation.

Raptor PR pulls in big names with key hires from Unity and Square Enix



It’s a double-win for Raptor PR as they bag both ex-Unity senior international PR manager Greg Cartwright [left] and Claudio Carneiro [right] from Square Enix for new senior exec roles.

Cartwright joins Raptor with 18 years of global communications experience having previously been Unity’s senior international PR managerm while Carneiro joins from Square Enix having previously worked at Ogilvy UK across consumer tech accounts including Google.

Krafton taps Jin Oh as their new chief global publishing officer



Krafton has appointed former Garena CEO Jin Oh as its new chief global publishing officer (CGPO). 

Come September, Oh will lead Krafton’s global publishing and international business operations with a focus on expanding the company’s presence in global markets and discovering new IPs. 

Supercell appoints Gerard Griffin as its new CFO



Griffin has previously held positions at major companies in games, media, and technology sectors, including NBC, EA, Zynga, and most recently, Sportradar.

With over 25 years of finance and business leadership experience, he will now be working together with Supercell leadership to grow the company and contribute to business decisions.

Gadsme appoints Antoine Jullemier as Head of Supply



Gadsme, the in-game ad platform, backed by Ubisoft and Galaxy Interactive, has appointed Antoine Jullemier as Head of Supply.

Jullemier, previously VP gaming at Bidstack will be working alongside Natalia Pakhomova to help the company continue to scale on a global level.

Jullemier said: “Our market is gaining momentum, with more studios and advertisers joining than ever before. Gadsme is at the forefront of this new wave, surrounded by top talent and some of the industry’s biggest players. We are very well equipped to drive innovation, deliver exceptional results, and set new standards in our burgeoning industry.”

Heather M Decker has taken on a new title of Director of AI Governance at Zynga

“My work at Zynga has changed so much over the past two years and I’m excited to share that my title (Director of AI Governance) now reflects this!” Decker wrote on LinkedIn.
Previously Decker worked as Zynga’s executive producer, operating out of Chicago, Illinois.

Lexi Sydow is the new vice president – marketing, insights & OCEO programs at Interos Inc



The former director of corporate marketing content and insights and acting co-VP of marketing at Data.ai is leaving the company after a nine year career, beginning as senior markets insight analyst back in 2015.

Interos is a supply chain risk intelligence company whose discovery and monitoring technology spans the lifecycle of supply chain risk and is the world’s first, and only, automated supplier threat mitigation platform.

Roblox CFO Michael Guthrie steps down



Roblox chief financial officer Michael Guthrie is to exit the company after six and a half years service. The executive has been with the company since 2018 and was part of the firm when it launched its initial public offering in March 2021.

He will stay on at the firm while a successor is found before stepping down. Roblox CEO David Baszucki said Guthrie had chosen to step down from the role to “pursue his personal interests and focus on his next chapter”.

Jan Richter succeeds Ralph Stock as CEO of Sixteen Tons Entertainment



Former CEO and founder Ralph Stock has stepped down from the role at Sixteen Tons Entertainment and has been replaced by Jan Richter.

With over 15 years of industry experience, Richter has played a key role in developing successful titles at EA, Bigpoint, Mighty Bear Games, and ZeptoLab, where he most recently served as head of product and design.

Xsolla appoints former Kami Vision and Samsung exec as new chief financial officer



Xsolla has appointed Cathleen Nilson as its new chief financial officer. She joins from SaaS AI company Kami Vision, where she had served as CFO. Prior to that, she has worked at Turing as global VP, CFO and strategic advisor to the CEO, at Samsung as group CFO and head of operation excellence.

She has also worked at Google, EA and Intel, among other firms.

Netflix recruits Epic exec Alain Tascan as president of games division



Netflix has swooped in for Epic Games EVP of development Alain Tascan to lead its games division. He replaces the company’s previous VP of games Mike Verdu, who was moved into a new “game innovation” role last month. He will report directly to Netflix co-CEO Greg Peters.

At Epic, Tascan oversaw first-party development on titles including Fortnite, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket League and Fall Guys. His other roles in games include being vice chairman at Funcom, VP and GM of EA Montreal, and VP of production at Ubisoft.
